Mezzelune of wholemeal puff pastry with ham and scamorza cheese

INGREDIENTS PER 10 PEOPLE

wholemeal puff pastry, 2 packages
cooked ham, 7oz
scamorza cheese, 7oz
peanut oil, to taste

PROCEDURE

Cut the scamorza cheese into thin slices.
Cut discs from puff pastry.
Stuff each disc with cooked ham and scamorza cheese.
Close them, joining the edges. You can join the edges with a fork.
Fry in hot peanut oil, until the rolls are well golden brown.
Drain on paper towels. Serve the rolls hot.
