Gluten-free Italian Meatballs

INGREDIENTS PER 4 PEOPLE

Lean ground Beef, 9 Oz
Ground pork, 9 Oz
Onion, minced, 1 Medium
Garlic, minced, 2 Cloves
Sea Salt, 0,3 Oz
Onion powder, 0,3 Oz
Dried basil, 3 Leaves
Dried thyme, 0,5 Oz
Dried oregano, 0,4 Oz
Crushed red Pepper flakes, 0,3 Oz
Red (hot) Pepper sauce, as desired, to taste, 1 dash
Gluten-free Sweet and Sour sauce, 5 Oz
Ricotta cheese, 5 Oz
Parmesan cheese, 4 Oz
Guten-free Bread crumbs, 3,8 Oz

PROCEDURE

Heat the oven to 400 °F (200 °C).

Combine in a mixing bowl ground meat, salt, onion, garlic, onion powder, basil, oregano, thyme, red pepper flakes, hot pepper sauce and Worcestershire sauce. Mix well.

Add the ricotta, Parmigiano Reggiano and bread crumbs; then mix until evenly blended. Form into 1½-inch meatballs and place them on a baking sheet.

Bake until no longer pink in the center, for 20-25 minutes.
