INGREDIENTS PER 4 PEOPLE
whole milk, 6,7 fl oz
cream, 3,38 fl oz
sugar for caramel, 2,6 oz
butter, 0,90 oz
large egg yolk, 1
caster sugar, 0,30 oz
In a saucepan let sugar cook over medium heat, then add butter. Mix well and add the half of cream and milk. In a saucepan beat egg yolk with sugar.
Add the remaining milk and cream to the caramel and add egg yolk to the mixture. Let it cool in the fridge for 3 hours.
Pour the mix into the Gelato maker – previously cooled in the freezer – and freeze according to the manufacturer’s instructions (about 40-45 minutes).
Serve and decorate with chocolate sauce.
