fresh puff pastry

frozen red fruits – mostly blackberries and red currant,1 bowl
light brown sugar

milk, 2 tbsps

PROCEDURE

Put berries in a bowl with 4 tbsps of sugar, and let them thaw, stirring from time to time.
 Heat the oven at 180°C. Meanwhile, peel and dice the apples, mix them with the berries and pour the frui in a baking pan, cover them with the pastry. Brush the pastry with milk and sprinkle it with some sugar. Using a pair of scissor, make a couple of cuts on the pastry surface. Bake for 20 minutes, until the pastry is puff and golden and the juices released by the fruit bubble.
 Make some custard to accompany. If you use custard powder you’ll just have to add milk.
