30 eccellenze della nostra tavola (30 excellences on our table): launching the Autumn appointments

Yesterday, September 29th, took place the last appointment of our Summer agenda, within the project “30 eccellenze della nostra tavola” (30 excellences on our table) – that I Love Italian Food is realizing in cooperation with Musei Civici and Comune di Reggio Emilia, and that will continue till March 2016.

From July to September, except for a short break on August, all Tuesday evenings were dedicated to one of the 30 excellences we selected within the rich gastronomic heritage of Reggio Emilia. Events of great success, started with the appointment on Tortelli Verdi, that also saw the attendance of a curious American Lady!
Children and adults, citizens and foreigners enthusiastically welcomed our proposal, by participating to all our events. Our Tuesdays’ appointments soon tuned into a moment of dialogue and debate, also thanks to the ability and know-how of our speakers, that answered all the public’s question.

Chefs and rezdore, journalists and entrepreneurs, professors and experts – together around the long table on the third floor of Musei Civici – not for teaching a lesson but for telling the public a story, their story. The story of a passion, born among the cookers or walking in the country, found out in a book or in a vanguard high tech research lab. Different experiences, all having something in common: the love for our territory and tradition.
Ending the event – when at 8 pm everybody starts getting hungry – savory snacks and tastings for all, always accompanied by a glass of Lambrusco!

And now, let’s start with our Autumn agenda! Same place, same time but on a different day: our appointments will be on Wednesday till December. On October 7th we’ll talk about Culatello di Canossa, already waiting for you!
